ROBERT WITHOUT OLYMPIA
“Galet d’Auzay is very sad because he has lost his
girlfriend, Olympia”. Following, a double victory in Chantilly,
Michel Robert’s partner has been sold this week. She will
henceforth compete under the saddle of a junior (the daughter
of Philippe Léoni). As for Galet d’Auzay, the progression
of his training since the beginning year has been convincing,
in terms of basic work and dressage (with the effective collaboration
of Christian Forlini). For his programme: the Nations’ Cup
and the Grand Prix. “I thought about doing the Derby with
Olympia. I could do it perhaps with Hockey Bleus*d’Amaury.
I will see …”
A FIRST FOR LAURENT GOFFINET
"The last time I came here, I was a kid, I was 12 years
old.” A reunion and a great first thus for Laurent Goffinet
who strides today for the the first time around the turf Baulois.
He will compete in the Grand Prix on Sunday with Flipper d' Elle*HN,
his top horse which he has ridden since the age of four.
ECHOES FROM AROUND THE GROUND
Philippe and his young Héritière. No excessive
ambitions for Philippe Rozier, who has come with horses that are
still ‘tender’ at this level of competition. He will
take his chance in Sunday’s Grand Prix with Héritière
of Adriers (a daughter of Apache d' Adriers).
Patrice Delaveau relying on his Envoyé Spécial:
“I will try to make the cut for the major classes: the Derby
with Lotus and the Grand Prix with Envoyé Spécial.”
For Florian, it is First at any price: Florian Angot will do
the Nations’ Cup on Friday, and Sunday’s Grand Prix
with First de Launay*HN. The stallion is in great form and started
the 2004 season well: 4th in the GP of Nantes and St-Hilaire du
Harcouët; 2nd in Vittel; 1st in Le Mans and Ste-Mère
Eglise. First, first? “I’m crossing my fingers for
Friday!”
